This was my car after it was hit. I started priming it today and then decided that I needed some bondo for this little nick that was in there. So far so good the only thing that worries me is when I start painting is the new paint will look like its separate from the old paint almost like there is a line drawn between the two. I know the new paint may be more vibrant then the old, but anyone know any good tutuorial or have advice for making a repair like this. I have been looking, but I havn't found anything to really help me out here.

you cant tape off a section and paint it, you will have to feather out the paint.

That is what I was figuring, So sand the clear coat down to the paint for a larger section and fade it out?
