    As posted on clubgp.com..

Just FYI, the special group buy pricing of $350 shipped (USA) $370(CANADA), is scheduled to end after this week (Sunday 27th). Yes, they're still issues we're working out, but this will be the lowest price these are offered for and it's ending this week.. SO try and make up your mind..

    Thanks.

    Such as?

Still considering a set...if people would pay their out standing balances on time, I would have your funds now.

Well some people are complaining about the light beams crossing.. Which is actually not fixable without adjust the lights themselves.. Which would end up causing a gap in the center towards the grille.. But most people aren't bothered by this. Also, the lights themselves are causing fog by the heat inside the light vs outside.. but this is mainly outside california.. but all occasions of this occuring were only temporary and soon after the lights were off, the moisture went awaay. So it's just minor stuff like this.. (though it may be MAJOR for you..) Things to consider before you lock in.

Have to remember...90% of the customers who buy GP/W-Body after market parts put everything under the micro scope and will complain about the littlest things. But i am sure you knew this going in. LOL Not a big deal to me, as long as it doesn't break or burn up the set, I'm good.

Someone I know locally has a set installed already, I'll be checking them out this weekend in person, so Sunday will be the last day of course, and the day I will place my order if I want to get a set.

From what I've seen so far they are very high quality. Most complaints I've seen have been operator error with either improper install, not knowing how to aim, jumping to conclusions, etc.

Condensation most likely from humidity, moisture from shipping and install. I'm pretty sure almost all, if not all, cases have not happened again.

I don't see the minimal crossing from close distances as being a problem. All light patterns properly adjusted I've seen have been beyond acceptable and output a huge improvement over stock.

Some people also did not have both tabs installed correctly, wires in the way, forced brackets, etc. Others didn't know how to operate the adjusters either initially making their installs difficult.

I will try to get some pics of mine installed when I can, but I'm more concerned with getting the lens off than any issues. I am debating buying H1 HID bulbs or sticking with the halogens. I already have the HID kit, but need to replace my 9007 HID bulbs. I also plan to run highs with lows, replace my Catz driving lights to match projectors color(too yellow of light output for me), wire halos to parking lights, alarm flash to parking lights, run led switchbacks for the corners/turns, and my mods.

Retail prices I've seen range anywhere from $425 to $500+ shipped. Remember also, Spyder is mainly a wholesale distributor so when it's done, it's done and you will be paying more and dealing with vendors (some reputable, some not so much). John has had excellent customer service and gone above and beyond. This whole group buy and dealing with some of CGP would have left a bad taste in my mouth if I was him. I only hope the GP community eventually buys as enthusiastically as interest was. Anyone that's been around GPs knows how that one goes.

Thanks for the vouch. After I get this groupbuy over, I'm sure there's a lot more work I'ma have to put in on the service. That's why I'm cutting it short..

However, today, we've managed to sell the 103rd set. If anyone was curious

I will be getting mine today, paypaling you in a few minutes. Got to see my set in person yesterday on a locals car, and hear his honest feed back. What he said was good enough for me. Only complaint was how they fit flush with the bumper/hood/fender area as his right was was perfect, but his left one was about 3/8" off everywhere. I figure if mine do this, I can just work the lights in around the car to make them sit perfect or as close to stock as possible.

I know nothing about these... What wiring is need if any? Plug and play? I have HIDs w/ 9007s currently, will these work with this? Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure if I like these or not. All I know is i need new corners and headlights and I may consider upgrading to these for the hell of it.

I just want them because of the light output is second to none even with the stock bulbs these come with, blow the stock headlights away. I might run HID's down the road, but as they come right out of the box is more than fine with me.

I'm not thrilled about the over all looks, or the fit issues many are having, but small price to pay I guess. I believe he extended the group buy to Tuesday only...so today being Wednesday, your kinda S.O.L. on getting a set cheaper now.
