    How can i remove the shifter? i was going to into a GTO one on my Grand Prix

    XPZ, Alum heads,150#, I/C, GEN V mps 3.0, N* TB CAI K&N fully built trans, JE pistons, L32 rods, Comp lifters, PRJ Fuel rails, 65# Injectors, elec pump, MSD wires, MSD coils, Alum control arms, AGX, vogtland, GMPP sway bars, rear trailing arms

    There is a staple thing in the front. Use something to pull out the staple. The staple is on the shifter itself, not on the boot. Along the lower part of the front. After the staple it out (Save it!) you can just pull the shifter up and it'll come out.

    i found a pair of curved pliers worked best, 10 seconds of problem solving and i learned how to take it off....
