    had black tips and decided to polish the edges....opinions?

    I liked them black, and I like them now.

    Just leave them like that...don't buy tips.

    i think you should leave these, they are very unique. looks very nice, better than i expected.

    They look really good, I plan on polishing mine.

    What was the process to get them looking that good (re: tools, grit type used, etc.)

    I have mine "polished"

    Meaning, I just took 100 grit to the edge until it became shiny. 5 minutes total. But I know some people use mothers and a dremel too. Dont know what the PO used, but it looks good.

    Sanded inside smooth with 320 grit then painted the tips...then used 320 wet sand all the way up til 1500 grit then used a polish wheel and mothers aluminum mag polish

    Just went out and did mine. Literally took 10 to 15 tops. Just used 100 grit sandpaper on them. Looks pretty awesome.
    No More GTP for me.

    My paint flew off from the exhaust pressure... And I did let it dry.
