hello everyone, so i decided to tint my tails yesterday. i noticed everyone on here uses the VHT nightshade, i figured id try something different for a change. i used Rustolium Tint Spray. i got it from autozone for 12.99. i was very pleased with the outcome of the tint, i didnt need to use any clearcoat to get it to shine, its dark but still lets alot of light through. and it goes on relativly smooth ( with good prep.) i used 800 grit sand paper and wetsanded the lights before spraying this. i think it turned out great.

Not bad. I would still put some clear on them, and polish and wax

Once again, it's the same as NightShades.

Autozone quit selling a lot of VHT and Dupli Color products, and Rustoleum picked up the slack. About the only thing VHT sells in Autozone stores is header paint and maybe brake paint.

    Trust me, I work there.

Not all Autozones will have it. Unless it's on the new planograms.

I don't know if it's the EXACT same because those results look pretty good for just spraying and no clear or sanding. I know VHT wouldn't look half that good.

VHT looks preety good with out clear if wet sanded and buffed out ive always used clear to help shine and protect

Yea the 1st az i went to half the paint shelf was empty the second one was almost full and they did have vht brake and header spray and i read all the empty slots its probably just not stocked yet

tried the other auto stores but they mainly have dupli color or krylon

Im going to check out wwalmart today and a az up near the walmart
