Zaino hands down, no question, no second guesses. Ive tried Mothers FX products and Zaino is still just a superior product in my opinion. I first started with just the polish, the Z2 product. And that alone I liked so much that I went and ordered about $125 or so of stuff from them and I havent looked back.

I am old school and use mothers california 100% carnuba paste wax as my final step. I use mostly "PRO" products and "Mothers" or "3M". I just cant justify the money for the Z products when I get the results I do from my wax. Not knocking the line. I hear all great things about the products. I know a lot of deatiler use the Zaino line. I also know a lot of detailers and colision shops who dont and stick with whats been good over the test of time. A good pro grade buffer and a good techique and you can do wonders. My paint job was in horrible shape when I bought my car. I was able to resurect it. I guess it depends what you want to spend on detailing products. I dropped some cash on a pro grade buffer instead of zaino.
If your paint is already in good shape, then Zaino is prob the way to go. I had acid rain etching and swirl/spider webbing to cure. I needed a buffer and cutting compounds.
Doubt I helped, but thats my experience and what I think for whats its worth LOL

Even my car had some really bad spots in it. Nothing that a little elbow grease can't handle though.

The major thing I have noticed with Zaino is really how easy it is to maintain. And it seems like it protects forever. The soap goes a long way, and washing is twice as easy.

Stick to what you know. If you like old school waxes then by all means. Zaino takes a little getting used to in prep and application, but I won't ever go back now.

I'd like to see someone use the product and see how well it works. Everyone raves about the zaino line. I havent heard any negative. I'd like to see a car before and after.

Someone did that on Autopia - Autopia Home a while back. I know they compared a bunch of different products (I know Pinnacle Souveran and Meguiars were on it, and I think Zaino was too, but I don't remember who else). They really took there time and tried to evaluate them as objectively as possible for both gloss and longevity. I first saw it a couple of months ago and don't feel like searching for it now.

As for the cost of Zaino, it seems a little expensive when you first buy it but all of their products are very concentrated. Once you get the technique down, they'll last forever, so they're not as expensive as they seem. Just remember, no matter how much you're using when you start out, it's too much.

    EXACTLY!
The thing with Zaino is you apply it a certain way, and put it in thin coats. Approx. a 3oz bottle will be more than enough to do a car. When you first start you really have to pay attention, because you won't hardly be able to tell where you've been until it cures. But the protection is unprecedented.

I go through the wash quicker than anything, because I'm always washing 2 cars in the summer or whenever weather permits. 2-3 capfulls per gallon is literally all that it takes to wash a car....wheels and all.
