Not exactly anything GM on it but thats for the daily driver. I wasnt exactly looking for anything economical here. I just wanted pure absurd, I think I have found it. I grew up around the street rod scene in the late 80s and 90's, I never ever could have dreamed of the opportunity to own one. I frequently have been visiting sites looking for Ford Tbuckets as I had an opportunity and fell in love with one. It just so happened it was on ebay located 3 hours from my house. Needless to say the rest is history.

Well I was going to wait until the car was in my driveway but you know I just cant. Ill be picking it up wednsday. It's a chrysler 440 big block with the 6 pack carb set up, the original owner passed away Im not sure of all the specs on the motor but am told it made 490 at the rear wheels. It's backed by a 3500 stall with a ford 9" in the rear. It does lift tires, as i verified when I rode in it yesterday. The left front comes up on the street. It should be fun in between gas stations. Enjoy.

Well i would but the regular driving lights just arent all that bright, not that those help any but. The trans cooler isnt really noticable in person but it seems to be needed somewhat. The speakers arent really to bad as you can really only see them mounted from the rear b/c they are far enough up under the dash and its nice to have music.

You are going to have so much fun getting that titled in PA - I could be wrong though, depends on whether you need to go thru the whole street rod thing or being that it was built in NY it might be easier.

But I'm pretty sure in PA, the tires are going to need fenders and that will screw up the whole look of the car.

No its titled a street rod up in NY, so i just need a MV41 filled out by a mechanic and the title gets transferred and as far as the plates I dont know. As far as i've been informed from a pretty reputable source the street rod title is pretty lenient on the laws.

I hate you. That car is sick. I would love to have a T bucket some day. Try not to get in too much trouble with that thing.

Thanks, yea the car was an 80's build so it has been around for awhile. Updates were done throughout time somewhat though. The most amazing thing is that the current owner kept all the receipts from the build. So I have a folder about 4 inches thick with thousands of dollars of parts/history etc. The guy wrote out all the schematics and diagrams for everything on the car and I have all those as well. Along with a full mopar electronic igntion that he ordered but passed away before he had a chance to put on.

The motor is out of a 70' superbee for anyone that was wondering.

thats cool not everyone has to like street rods. However the 440 6 pack and torqueflight tranny with 3500 stall is worth more then i payed for it. If you look around the 6 pack carb setup and intake manifold is worth quite a bit of money in working condition. So kinda a ignorant post really. Thanks to everyone else though.
