Took some time to do, but it turned out great and I lined it up better than the way the body shop had it after they painted it.

Ummm.......^This^, sorry guys, everone has thier opinions, all good, but IMO I reeeaaallllyyy wish my car looked this good. Nice ride brother.
Hell, how many options are there out there? I think it speaks fairly highly of the excellent body design that we have so many different hoods to choose from. It allows us to make are cars a little more individual, but (almost) all badass.

F1 and SD are sexy, sexier with SD air dam. WS6 hoods... overkill. dont care for GTX either.

I think that it's the MPD F1 hood. I've owned (2) different ASCD "SD" hoods. They're nice, but both of them had issues on the sides of the hoods, where they're sitting below the fenders, right above the wheels. I got tons of compliments and was even mistook for a GTO a few times on other forums, weird, huh? Anyways, the WS6 hood for the '97 - '03 grand prix's are pretty mean too. I made a set of grills up for one of my customers w/ that hood and it looked awesome!! But, everyone has their own opinion. I've seen the cowl hood that intense in person, when it was on scott's car and saw it on the next owner's car as well. I want the MPD F1 hood because of it's fitment. I had one lined up to buy, in my color, but the guy never got back w/ me, which sucked!! Good luck on your purchase, if you have not already bought one.

As far as a pic of the ASCD "SD" hood, look at my sig pic. That was my 2nd hood and on my last grand prix.

the nastiest hood on thee cars is the ws6 in my opinion. and i saw some guy put the heat extractors on top of a ws6 hood which just looks insane. i just purchased an 01gtp which had the sd hood already on it, and its plugged up because of water/snow getting inside the engine compartment. id like to fabricate some water tight water stops i can automatically put on when it rains/snows and take off when its a nice day or dry out only because its so clean in the engine compartment and there are aftermarket mods under mine also. but thats just my 2 pennies, ws6 hood and the ltd edition spoiler.

Bio said the cowl hood is "all kinds of stupid on a fwd car." I never said that is what makes them fast. I'm sorry you couldn't read through my 2 year old subtext.

I don't see how it is "stupid." If you swap the cowl hood off one of those fast Grand Prixs for a SD/F1/etc. hood instead it won't change the times they run. So why is it "stupid" to put a cowl hood on instead of one of the other selections?

    Make sense now?

^^^ and made from an old Pontiac. Win-Win

Custom hoods are really nice, I will probably go for a F1 later down the road because I like the clean look and it is clean. Had an opportunity to get a GTX hood locally, but don't really like the look of them.
