I have seen before a 2 door '96 grand prix with clear factory tail lights and colored bulbs. The red and yellow plastic pieces were taken out of the casing. I've had my tail lights out before and I'm pretty sure the casing is caulked together. Anyone have pictures of this project done? What about instructions on how to do this? Thanks

Probably the guy put them in the oven to loosen the caulk/glue. Then he took them apart and took out the red parts and replaced the bulbs with colored red bulbs. Maybe lol I don't know.

My friend has a 95 gp, and when I was sanding down his lights to tint them they looked clear, so maybe thats what he did?

Grab a broken one or two from the junk yard and try it out. If that IS how you do it, use the second one to test it to perfect, then do YOUR pair and clear them.
