The only reason the VVME kit used a 2-piece assembly was because the magnet diameter was too large for the stock bulb retaining ring to pass over it. Thus you needed to install the adapter first, then the stock ring, then the HID bulb itself. That was the only thing that saved me from returning that kit because of it's piss poor performance. If it were a one-piece design like the one pictured above, I don't believe there is going to be an easy way to change it's focal point. Please post pics of the tilting bulbs in each of their positions if you can. You should be able to apply +12vdc to the high beam circuit without having the ballasts installed. I want to see how far it tilts. Do as much measuring as you can before installing your kit permanently. We need to learn as much as we can here for the good of the community.
