Around here a used door would be about 100 with power options. Don't know how much it would be to paint it. What color is your car? I know it is hard to find doors in my color, but it is usually easy to find red, black, green, etc.

I would go buy a used door and put it on yourself. Take it to a bodyshop and have them paint it or vice versa. That should more than cut the cost in half. It doesn't look like there is any structural damage to me. If you could find a door the same color that would be better cause it might not even need paint then.

Wow thats a ton, yea find a junk yard door and have a shop paint it for you, or talk to the bodyshop and see if they can get a used door, they can get better prices usualy

I work in a pretty high end body shop...and for 2742 theres something structurally wrong! Or there painting the entire car. If that was just a door and paint and blend it shouldn't be over 13-1500 at a high end shop

well they said 1200 for the door. 600 to paint and blend with clear. and then its a 10 hour job they said. at 60 dollars an hour. and then they said random shop parts at to 342.

it all sounds crazy to me.

1200 FOR THE DOOR! I know for a fact that our shop can get a door from GM (which no one does, they probably use LKQ aftermarket parts) for under 300, and aftermarket in the 150 range, so thats F-in crazy!

I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT ALL YOU NEED IS A DOOR SKIN....

thats not worth more than 500 $..... find a new shop man!!!

they take the skin (outer metal off the door) off and glue a new one on, paint it and done!!!

i have had it done on 2 cars... really cheap and easy... go to a gm dealer and thats what they would do or buy this... offer him 150$

2742 is a fair price.. They will need to replace the door plus Remove & install everything..

Its 4500 - 5000 to paint a complete car around me.. ( Thats at a high end bodyshop )

You can get them paint for less but you are going to have paint lines on the moldings & handles so 2742 is a fair price for a nice job..
