Does anyone here have neons installed on their car? I just purchased a set for my GP in green, and was curious as to any ideas on where the best place to mount them is under the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated![]()

Been there, done that. I wouldn't bother with them now that I look back.
But, to answer your question: There is a well between the sideskirt and the rest of the body that works well for mounting, in the rear its kinda tough, but the bumper support works, and the front valance can hold the front one
Were they difficult to install? I'm a complete dip**** when it comes to this stuff, I can wire it up, but when it comes to mounting them, I dunno what to do..it comes with the mounts and all that, but I'd imagine I need a drill?
I will try and take some pics tomorrow of mine. The easiest way I know of that hasnt already been said here is as follows:
Drivers side and rear can be ran thru the rear E brake groment.
Passengers side and front can be ran thru the underside of the rear passenger fender and in thru the side of the glove box. Its been 4 years since I ran them so I dont know right off hand how I did it on the passengers side.

thank you Webracin![]()
I ran my wire through the Passenger side
into the car to a toggle switch that lights up..
That way you know there on as you don't want the
cops to see them on when your driving or you won't be...
As for under the car mount them on the other side of the rails
this way you can still lift your car without breaking them...
for the front and back tuck them up under the bumpers so that they
are not seen... very important... cops will pull them if they see them ok.
Make sure you solder and wrap or use butt connectors to insure
they are not going to come lose and wrap them good you don't need
to short them out...
Mine are very dirty and need to be cleaned
but i think this will help some..
Good luck with the install
John
