I had a cheap ebay kit for the headlights but the ballasts started to corrode (cheap ebay kit) and I took them out and now I just use Silverstars.

Also the light in the HUD doesn't always stay on. Any idea why this is happening or what i could do about it?
i got the 9007 just installed and the same thing happened to me too? what was the solution?

i just got my 9007 hid installed..they are good, but i still think they are not as bright as say other cars with hid's...they light up the road way better then before but if drive next to a car with hid's there car will over power my lights? maybe they need to be aimed down more?

Backstory: I sold off my original HIDs that I modified to switch over to projectors, but that whole deal fell through and got ugly...

So, back in the car are my black headlamps and some REAL tilting (not telescopic) HID bulbs.

Can't get much better than this!

It's ALL about focal point. Make sure you measure your lamps to be sure that the arc is produced in the correct position. (See page 1 of this thread)

Im just hearing all this talk about 55w ballast and it sounds overkill if a 35w is already 3 times brighter than a standard halogen.

Today I installed hid high and low can't get the high and low to switch. When I put the high on I don't notice any difference the high beam indicator stays on dull and the fog lights don't come back on seems to me like I am getting a back feed.I wonder dose the auto lights have something to do with this ?

Quick question, I'm thinking about getting some hid's and I know it's not good for them to blink like they do. If I got this harness would it then be ok to not have to worry about the blinking? I didn't know if that's what this thing was for exactly. Here's a link to it.

I just ordered mine the other day. I spoke with them on the phone and they said that if you order the dual HID (Hi/Low beams) it comes with the HD harness. So you can get the harness for $15 or the duals for $20.

..I got the duals. keep in mind they are behind on orders due to their sale.
