Im going to buy my wife a set of HID's for her 2009 ford flex. My question is, should i get the relay harness or just hook them up with no harness? Also what temp should i get so she can see in the night?

choose what ever color you like! 4300k is the brightest, go look at some charts ans make your decision!

anyone know what ballast is better for fog lights a 35 watt or a 55 watt?

Owners manual tells you how to change that.

Hello, friends! Please advise me on the following HID's for I am a noob in the HID world. Here's the story: my current (stock, halogen) headlights are completely sunburned and are letting water in. The lights are horrible and you can't see a darn thing at night. After giving it a thought, I've decided to get brand new HID headlights (the entire thing) but here's a question: what's the best place to buy the entire assembly from? I need to buy the actual headlights (I would like them to be "angel eyes" kind) + the HID conversion.

I found this kit on eBay but I don't know if it's good quality? 97-03 GRAND PRIX BLACK H3 HID XENON LED HALO RIM PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS 6000K | eBay

If anyone knows of a good complete kit - I would GREATLY appreciate a link for me to buy it from. I don't know much about HID's. All I know is that they are much brighter and better than halogens.

Thanks very much for your help! All input is welcome!

I'd suggest the retrofit source and nothing else.

They seem to offer very high quality product, however, I don't see the actual headlights for sale which is a must for me. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as the actual "angel eyes" headlights go?

Also, I'm not looking to spend $1,000 on this, I would prefer to stick to $200-300 price range. Thanks!

Ebay projectors, which is the only thing available, all have issues.

I'm about to order headlights, can't decide on 4300K/6000K. Maybe it's not that big of a difference, but I might tint my headlights, and wouldn't want that to mess with the color.

If you tint your headlights then it will cut down on how bright they are so you want the maximum light output which is 4300K

My 2001 GTP didn't come with the owners manual when I bought it used.

How does one turn off this function? I've always hated it / don't want to wear out the ballasts when I put mine in too.

Hey you guys knows if in the 04+ GP do you need a relay? I remember using no relay on my old 07 GP base just the ballasts with this black box in connected to it that connects with it to the Bulbs. They plugged into the stock plugs for the headlights.

I have an 04, you don't NEEd the harness to make the HIDs work. Its just the for $10-15 more, why not have them connected Better

I have an 06 gxp and when I put my 55watt ballasts in I got lots of flickering from lack of power. I then got a relay to power em off of battery and no more problems and brighter

Ive got 35w 4300k in some spyder projectors and they are plenty bright. I wouldn't get the sypders again though. I would instead stick to vendors on this site. Dash Z + Diode Dynamics.
