...just in case a 97-03 owner reads the previous statement and just wants to go down and get Silverstar Ultra bulbs, don't - here's why:
For the stock 2003 housings, the Silverstar Ultras do not even come close to the same output compared to my DDM HIDs. The DDM tuning HIDs are almost too bright, and they light up everything. Everyonce in a while I'll get flashed from people that think my brights are on. ....my buddy says they are too bright... I absolutely love them and will recommend them to anyone.

To fit the 9006 bulb in for your low beam?

Oh gotcha.
Re: *** Ultimate HID thread ***
With my DDM kit, there is no need to buy the error eliminator. The DDM kit leaves the passenger side OEM bulb unplugged because ther DDM harness only connects to one bulb connection. For some reason, the brights indicator on my dash and HUD is constantly on. It's dimmer when the brights are not actually on, but it's still there.
I plugged in a stock bulb to see what would happen and it fixed the brights indicator on the HUD and dash. Since I have the 9004 bulb plugged into the stock harness, I now have an underhood light. :)

A headlight bulb?? :th_nervous:
Re: *** Ultimate HID thread ***
yeah, just put a stock bulb in the factory harness connector that is seperate from the HID wiring. Here's what I'm talking about, you can see the HID plugged into the headlight housing, connected to the DDM HID wiring harness, then below that is the factory headlight harness and a 9004 regular bulb plugged into that. This is only on the driver's side because on the passenger side the factory harness plugs into the DDM HID harness. Again, I only plugged in the regular 9004 bulb into the harness to prevent the brights indicator to turn off on the dash and HUD. The HIDs worked perfectly without doing this.

Re: *** Ultimate HID thread ***
ghettooooooooo
I didn't need to do this at all and i'm running a harness that only connects to the passenger side for that, but connects to the drivers side for the high beam(9007-3 bulb, hate the bulb, no high beams)
Re: *** Ultimate HID thread ***
eh... ok.... I can also break off the bulb and tuck it under the housing in the bumper... i just don't care right now.

So when you open your hood and your headlights are on, it's like the ****ing sun under your hood? Jesus, I just can't imagine how bright and how hot that would be? Correct me if I'm wrong..
Re: *** Ultimate HID thread ***
no no, you are right, I do have an underhood light now. It's not that bright since there aren't any reflectors. Doesn't even light up the entire engine bay at night.
Re: *** Ultimate HID thread ***
I wanna put HID's in my driving/signal lights, is it bad for an HID light to flash as it's working as a signal all the time?
