    Tinted my taillights..turned out good imo



    are they too dark though? ive had two people so far tell me my lights arent on...i had a buddy drive down the road and i could see them fine so idk....

    not too dark if you can still see them. the cops will probably say differently though.

    they're pretty really dark. but i love the look. get RED LEDs, maybe that will help seeing the brakes... good job tho!

    those are hella dark 3 coats ftw i started out dark with my first set and got lighter with each set....btw if you ever wanna go lighter 600 grit wetsanding and sometime will take it off to be redone....looks nice tho just would be concerned about light output...btw if you want them to look shiny as hell get some 2000 grit sand paper and wet sand all the orange peel dimples out and buff with 3M rubbing compound and a polish ....get a drill attachment buffer for best results.

    another cool thing you can do is sand off the little lettering on the lights i did that to my latest set ....nice lil touch looks good none the less man tinted tails plus silver FTMFW

    ya your car is my insperation haha
    and i only have two coats of vht with 3 coats of clear. I sanded and buffed my friends and his didnt come out as shiny, so i just kept the shinier orange peel look lol

    Yup. Looks good bro. I got a prob with mine being too dark during the day. I've been pulled over once. They look great at night just kinda hard to see with daylight. Good job man

    you have to use 2000 grit and buff them real good with rubbing compound...my tails look like glass now

    Mine are just as dark if not darker, i live in michigan and have had no problems with the police. Im more scared of someone hitting me during the day then night cuz you cant see any light during the day, Im looking for LED bulbs.

    I like the light tint better then the dark lights..

    I like when people can show them off & not worry about being stopped for them..

    Like these..( These are a NEW way & the first set I have done this way )

    I have been using these for the past 2 weeks on my winter car & I got a MA state inspection sticker with them on the car too..
