I have a 2000 GTP and I have the standard GTP badges on the door, along with "Grand Prix" and "Supercharged" on the trunk lid. I was joking around with my friend the other day, saying how I almost never get people wanting to race me, even some Mustang GTs. He said that it is because of the stickers/badges I have on my car. I didn't think could be true, but I'm slowly starting to think he is right. Now the reason, I havn't gotten rid of them already is that I like standing out from the crowd, and bragging that I have a S/C under the hood.

So, should I take them off and run "stealth"? or should I leave them on and almost never get another street race?

I've never been a fan of debadged vehicles. Not that I think that the people that decal up their cars are on the right track either, but that is just my personal opinion. I like how my car looks in that aspect, and to each their own...

take em all off id rather have people guessing and scared to hear the blower whine....you'll have lots of people neglegent to the L67/L32 think they can smoke you....then when you pass them you can get that....."omg a grand prix is passing me" look on their face <- lots of mustang gt drivers are famous for this face....

Well I don't even like the badges on our cars so mine are gone. Thing is, even with them gone nobody wants to race. I rarely get a race anymore where I live. I figure its just a grand prix thing. Everyone think cuz its a four door grocery getter, it aint gonna be quick. Oh well

What year? I think the 97-03 looks good with badges. The 04+ looks better debadged.

take GRAND PRIX off and leave just the GT.
