I would love to see the wright up if you do it. Take pictures for those of us who dont read so good... er, well... lol.

What would need to change about the shifter positioning? I know the cop cars have the shifter mounted on the steering column but my friends impala has this gauge cluster with a floor shifter and I beleive the SS has the shifter on the floor as well.

I wasn't talking about the shifter itself, but the display in the gauge cluster. Isn't it digital on there too? Though as I said, it really doesn't make a huge difference, I'm sure you could live without it on the dash as long as you know how to look down. =P

Ok I see what your saying. Electrical stuff is really what I know the least about. I dont mind workin on the greasy parts of the car, I just get outside my comfort zone when it comes to electronics lol. It would be pretty awsome to get the digital gear indicator to work and replace the plastic around the actual shifter with the one out of a floor shifted impala. It has no P-R-N-D-3-2-1 written on it and looks way cleaner that way.
