Just wanted to share this with my bros.. I got both my kits the other day and have installed them,,, I have a 2005 GTP,, got the lows and the fogs,, these kits are the best I have seen,, I got the 6000K,, I was a little scared because of the price,, $72.00 shipped each set,,, from Ebay.. but I tell you, These are the real deal... Very very very happy with them... I am ordering for my wife today... the seller is VVME, they have a site also.. VVME.COM LLC Your Best HID KIT Supplier
I did alot of research on this and I just think you cant go wrong.... I have a bud that spent over 300 on his HIDS and mine are nicer and brighter... good luck...

    Chris

PS. OH and a big bonus.. these kits will allow you to maintain the use of your high beams.... other kits disengage your highs..big bonus...

So the HIDs are low beam only or both high and low. Seems like a steal at that price. Id definitely would be finally swayed to try a set for that price.

OK,,, no need for the relay harness,,, they work great,,, and the shipping was 2 days,, fastest i have ever seen..... these are for low beams only,, but you do not lose your high beam capability that you would with other kits... this is the link below,, from here you can choose your size and color.. i love my 6000k,, they are very bright,,,and just a touch of crystal blue... came to like 72dollars shipped....

    eBay Motors: HID CONVERSION KIT XENON H1 H4 H7 H11 H3 9005 9006 HB4 (item 190205139809 end time Mar-11-08 23:42:31 PDT)

ya that's what he means. But it's nothing crazy a lot of companies offer these. But for a price of $72 shipped, you can't go wrong dude! definitely worth it. And it looks like the kit already comes with it's own wire harness from the pictures i seen at his website.

I have been considering picking up a set of these. But I haven't yet because of the whole high beam thing. I need high beams to get inspected in PA. So my choice is to either change them once a year back to the old to get inspected. Or hope the halogen highs work well enough.

Does anyone know if the halogen high beams point higher than the lows? I realize they are not going to be brighter. But just so the angle up a little higher than the low beams and I should be fine.

Ya they angle up just fine like a regular dual filament bulb would. Whether or not inspection will allow them is another story though. Personally I don't go through any inspections here in Michigan so I have no clue how that all works. But even if you had to swap them out real quick, it's nothing but a 2 minute job! Keep the ballasts and wiring intact and just swap out the bulbs and plug them in.

Hold the phone... You got tilting 9007-3 bulbs from VVME? MY VVME kit came with useless telescopic bulbs that did NOT work in the GP capsules without making my own adapter rings...

    My big HID thread

VVME finally stopped responding to my emails, the bastards. I was going to recommend them to everyone until they gave me the runaround. BTW, if you email them directly at VVME, they give you better pricing and shipping than the store or ebay. The ebay name is "FlashPlus" aka VVME.COM .
    The GPs are long gone...

The vvme site (and their ebay store) show this pic of the 9007-3-- though the ebay auctions also show the tilting bulb photo as well

a synopsis of hid styles ---
    Single Beam Conversion Kits -- H1, H3, H4-1, H7, 9004-1, 9005, 9006, 9007-1, with 2 ballasts and installation clamps.
Hi-lo Beam : H4-2, 9004-2. 9007-2 hid for low beam and halogen bulb for high beam, with 2 ballasts and installation clamps.
Telescope Kit : H4-3, 9004-3, 9007-3, single HID can switch between high beam and low beam, with 2 ballasts and installation clamps.
Bi-xenon Kit : H4-4, 9004-4, 9007-4, 2 HID bulbs on each bulb, which works for high and low beam, with 4 ballasts and installation clamps.

BackInBlack - do you have any idea what number would be the tilting 9007 type? its not a -2 or a -4, what is it?

Toasty: Those photos are bull****. Just some generic photos that you will find on almost every HID peddler's web and ebay site. See my thread for actual photos of the kit I received. The fact is, that they are all cheap Chinese kits, and they dealers have no clue what they will get in on the next shipment. I was told by VVME that my kit was supposed to be tilting. So was JCPrix over on CGP. Neither of us got tilting kits, just telescopic, which we all know does not work as a 9007-3. VVME finally stopped responding to my email once I gave them my HID thread. IIRC, they offered me a 50% refund if I shipped them back to China for return. F- that. JCPrix was in contact with a manufacturer who said that the tilting type 9007 bulbs were unreliable, thus they disappeared from the market, replaced by the H4 telescopic bulbs with 9007/9004 adapter rings. For some reason these a-holes think that H4, 9004 and 9007 bulbs are all the same. My next project will probably be selling my 9007-3 kit that I modified, and getting a fixed 9007-1 kit and applying my tilting capsule modification instead. I'm going to move the capsule up and down, rather than the bulb. Haven't decided if I'm going to use vacuum actuators or solenoids though. Trying to acquire engineering samples at the moment.

Sounds pretty sweet. I would love to see that done but I personally would not have use for it anymore once i have those GP projectors. Also, I thought when that dude posted about high beams he meant it has a halogen bulb on it not telescopic...

I have the HIDs from the group buy.

I guess we are getting this thread all messed up,,,,, look,,, the high is not HID it is halogen,, but it works great, I mean really, why would you want to waste money on getting a HID high,, not me.... now with the low beamsn and the fogs on at the same time, this is a nice look...

So I checked out the website. They only sell 9007-1 and 9007-3, which are telescopic. I was the ones with halogen highs. Which ones are they? Or is it just by chance that the 9007-1 have the halogen highs. Again, I NEED to have these for inspection.
