SO ive been looking at Electronic exhaust cutout on youtube and it makes your car sound like a BEAST! but most the videos are only with chargers, chryslers, and jeeps..so my question is can they be put on any car? and are they good or bad for the car? are they worth it?

yes, they can be put on the car.

no, they wont sound good at all.

no, they arent worth it since all electronic cutouts eventually fail and you wont gain a stitch of power with it.

Here is a vid of mine that dumps just like a cut out would. But, with my car being having a turbo also makes a difference. I get looks and questions every time that i'm out. Hope this helps. Supercharged will sound different and would not give you as much as it would for a turbo. YouTube - New Cam and Turbo & no traction.

T4/T67 turbo, PRJ tune, 9.5:1 forged pistons & race block, Oversize air/air IC, 3 inch exh, Electric W/P, 1.6 RR, 3.29 gears, 3750 stall, Intense STAGE 4 TURBO CAM AND HEADS, 65# Inj, GEN 3 LSD, 255 f/p, 103's, white w/ blue pearl, Ghost flames, B&G spg. + more.

the difference in exhaust at cruising speeds b/t a s/c and a t/c is night/day. i had a cutout when s/c and although it sounds great at idle, around the 2000-2400RPMs it sounded like ass and even worse at WOT. now with a turbo and a cutout, it sounds awesome at both idle and cruise and especially at WOT.

    heres when i was s/c:
    outside the car at wot
    cutout open

    now t/c:
    much better lol
