Who here has painted thier dash bezel and trim pieces(window switches, vents, etc.)? I want to paint mine, I am redoing my car in a black and green theme, and want the interior to reflect that. What is involved in doing that and what kind of paint should I use? Thanks!

Look through here for a thread started by me and you will find out what you need to know. I don't want to be the "why don't you search" type person, but I'll leave you with that until I can find the thread for you.

NP man. I'm not a big fan of those that tell people to search. This is a new forum, how do you know if the question has been asked yet, or if you are searching with the right keywords....Just glad I could help you out.

Thanks again ! I have a black GP GT and am looking to do the bezel and window switches painted green, I think black and green will look sweet Hopefully I can find a neon green color to paint with, lol.

Good luck with your project. I started that thread for my son. He has a 99 GTP. His dash looks pretty good now, but the console is bubbling. Winter is a bad time to paint, especially in a garage w/o heat. He may have become a little hurried on the console, due to school, work, baseball etc. Patience and attention to detail seems to be the key. I don't have the patience for painting.

I agree, take your time and wait for good temps. I rushed my HUD cover and it bubbled. I am currently redoing it. This time around I have begun most of the rest. Its a nice touch when done right. Take your time and it will turn out for you.

I'm one to tell them to search, but i will usually do it for them as you did and supply them with the link to a good thread I know of.
