Hey everyone, new on here. Had a 2000 GP Gt and now have an 04. Lookin to pull the badges on the 04 and I was wondering if any of the badges have holes behind em or if they are just glued/doulbe sided taped on. I'm just looking to pull the "grand prix and gt" badges. Also the car is silver, so will I have to worry about the paint fade much? Any help would be great.

Faded no, but if the car was sprayed with them being taped off, yes you will have an outline then. Look closely to try and tell before removing.

Ya that took off the rugular residue. Not this ****. This is hard and not maliable like usual. I tried everything. It's rock solid so the goo gone isn't working

The badges came off no problem on my 07 I use 3M Adhesive Remover. Just sprayed it on t here let it set and used some dental floss came off perfect! They was ALOT easier then my 99 and 00!

My 98 GT has the 3800 badge. I haven't touched my exterior yet, such a sleeper. Except the exhaust.

The newre '04 cars don't have the 3800 badge...so there is nothing to worry about...honestly...I did a debadge on a newer car and took a hairdryer to it for a few minutes...then took dental floss to the lettering...came right off.

04s don't look good with badges IMO except the GXP badge.

BwolfGT would you pull or leave your GXP badge on a 2006 GXP if you had one? Just curious on what the people think.

I would keep the GXP badge for sure. I'd pull everything else but that.
