Re: New GPOs on a Silvermist.
Thanks for all the comments guys.
Well when i first got them back from the body shop it came with a lot of gaps so i took a heat gun to it to try to close them up. As for the SS grills i used the grills that came with the GPOs and used them as a template for my SS grills to be cut. I then cut the grills and mounted them and i just hand painted the mounting tabs so it wouldn't stick out like a soar thumb through the grills.
Re: New GPOs on a Silvermist.
Did you heat gun them after they were painted? If you did, how hard was it to do? and did it mess up the paintjob at all?
Re: New GPOs on a Silvermist.
That was my mistake, i should have heated it before it was painted. But i was extra careful and i managed to heat it after it was painted. Just don't get to close and constantly move the gun avoiding staying in one spot.
Re: New GPOs on a Silvermist.
So how easily did they mold to your bumper? Could you get them shaped exactly the way you wanted?
Re: New GPOs on a Silvermist.
god every time i look at your car i have to clean up a mess. man i hate you

Thanks, it came with regular satin grills, but i wanted to be different so i picked up some SS chrome grills from a demod and i hacked them up to fit behind the GPOs.
Re: New GPOs on a Silvermist.
so where would a guy find something like that?
Re: New GPOs on a Silvermist.
Well the GPO's you can get at grille-fx.com and the chrome SS grills i got from someone selling them on another forum for a lot less then the normal price. But if you insist on paying the full price you can find them on pfyc.com
