hey guys and girls. well i finally took the plunge and bought myself a set of projector headlights a couple weeks ago. bought them off of ebay for $140. not too bad if you ask me. i got them wired up to the parking lights, not the turn signals like some companies say. i guess i just didnt like the idea of my halos blinkin with the turns. and actually, the wire job and installation went pretty smooth. all i had trouble with was lining up the gaps around the bumper and hood and stuff so both sides looks the same. the bracket on the drivers side that you bolt the headlight bracket to thats attached to the car was bent down a little for some reason and was throwin off the alignment a little. but, i got it figured out, adjusted the headlights so they dont blind anyone, and they look AWESOME. im actually pretty happy with them. the light output is much better then the stock lightbulbs, and i love the halos at night. the only thing im gonna change is my new headlights are much brighter then the stock ones, and i reused my clear turn bulb and clear marker bulb, and they dont put out nearly as much light, so they look almost yellow compared to the headlights. any suggestions? maybe some cool blue bulbs or maybe just go hid? http://www.grandprixforums.net/membe...-gtp-pics.html
here are the pics of the lights and the whole car.

If you got the money, go HID on bulbs. If not, a nice halogens should do the trick.

I don't know about everyone else here, but how come I've never seen anyone hook the switch to the fog lights? That's what I'd do. Also never seen anyone cut a new switch.

Yeah ill get some pics up. Don't worry. Honestly I think the gap isn't because of poor design or anything. Like I said before, the bracket that's on the car that the headlight bracket bolts to is slightly bent down for some reason on the drivers side. All I did was massage it back up a little to change the gaps. Now they look great. Honestly I love these lights. Especially at night with those halos. Of course now I'm bothered by my crappy stock foglights. Ugh. It never ends does it?

i adjusted mine so they fit nice and i re did the weather stripping on them fukk the bs weather strip they come with i now have a single piece running around the corners and all the way under neath the lights....no bounce AT ALL, tight fit, no big gaps just small ones on the inside no more than the stockers tho...they are perfect now....def glad i invested in them...

i especially like how my thicker strip tightened up the corner fit.

Did they actually plug and play or did you have to cut and splice them in? Otherwise, they look great!

There plug and play for the most part. Just have to splice the wires to the parking lights but there easy.

....so if you're my haunted car, that needs to be re-wired. If you don't have control over when the parking lights are on or off due to the auto lights, then you can't have the halo's on when you want to..bummer. They look great though! (yes, I've read the articles on taking over your headlights..my car doesn't obey and throws a fit when the fuse is pulled, and unplugging the cable in the dash yields no results at night....and I ain't re-wiring the entire system with relays and such)

i dunno really. the stock headlights i had on there gave off more of a chrome look what with the clear corners and all. i thought about it pretty hard but in the end i couldnt really decide. the diff between ur car and mine is u still have the stock black grille pieces. mine are the brushed alluminum ones for the upper and lower. couple that with the blue arrowhead i got for the front, and i made my custom "gtp" emblem in the grille silver also, with the chrome headlights, it makes the car look good.

So are you saying the halo's are now your DRLs? I thought they were wired only to the parking lamps and only on if they are.

Do you have DRL enabled? If so, what part of the lights are on when?

    Thanks!
