    Can the color of this lamp be changed legally i wanted to change mine to red to match my color scheme but do not want to do this and get pulled over for it. Does anyone know if it is illegal? Thanks

    im not sure if its legal or not, I have a white led in mine. But also I have Blue LED license plate bolts and i have had them on for 4 months or so and havent been pulled over.

    it differs on the state, in ohio it HAS to be white but ive had red in for over a year and no problems w cops

    I put a blue blub in mine years ago without any trouble. Matches my HIDs perfectly too.
