Sweet Mother of God of all things holy. These are really coming out? Any idea what the cost will be for these? I havent skimmed through the ClubGP post yet.

You arent going to get banned from here for spreading the word, but if you are the vendor for these, we may need to move this into the vendor area. I will work on that in the morning, I gotta get some sleep. 4:45am comes way too early.

    John,

Quick response time! Glad you got over here after our emails. Some really great members of the community that could have missed out.

Don't quote me as I'll let John verify everything, but I believe the following is correct: GP communities group buy gets first shot at these and best initial pricing. HIDs will work, but minor modification needed and not "recommended" by the company due to warranty coverage. Last I read still waiting for sample chrome and black lights for pics, light output, etc. Mid-March release. Any distributors displaying these jumped the gun and don't have them in stock or correct pricing.

A few of us have been pushing for these for nearly 10 years with poor results. 9 years myself with two companies backing out. Always wanted a one piece and they're on their way.

From what I've read and witnessed John is a standup guy and has put alot of effort into these for us. Thanks again John.

If no one else does I'll get on my computer in the morning and post all the pics I have of them so far for everyone.

Good to see these come to fruition. I don't have a GP anymore, but if I ever end up in one again, I will definitely get these, as the stock headlights are junk. Nice work.

    John,
Could there possibly be a group buy for this forum? I was VERY interested in these headlights in black but I got banned from ClubGP and have no way of getting in on the group buy now. I saw that you made the price $330 or something like that shipped anywhere in the US, and if there is any way possible you could add me to the list if there aren't enough people to do a group buy here that would be awesome. Thanks.

Yeah, this is true. Mike N. the creator of the site has been going a little ban crazy lately, especially when it comes to small time vendors that don't pay him the right amount of money to advertise on his site. He's also been banning anyone that associates with this forum, Grand Prix's of North America, and Team Airborn. He told me that I was banned for posting off topic and for overriding the sensors(had the Airborn my fast forum link in my sig). I looked at all of my recent posts and none of them seemed off topic at all, so I know it's just because he knows Airborn is affiliated with Grand Prix's of North America, and he can't take a little competition. So be careful on ClubGP, you never know what he is going to do. I also really appreciate you spreading the word to the other Grand Prix forums as well. I had a fake name all made up on ClubGP just to get in on this group buy lol.

I was going to contact this guy and tell him to come here and post the same group buy. I replied to his thread on GPONA, so I wont double post my interest in these here, but I am game for a set, and might contact you in the near future about doing a special thing for me on my set.

Ok guys, I believe these are all the pics I have saved of the projector headlights. I don't know there could be a few more floating around. I'm sure John will have more once he gets the trial sets.

Yes, these will be available to GPF, CGP, and GPONA members on a group buy. Think he said an initial run of like 600 units and something about the second batch. That wasn't the group buy list on CGP, just his intial interest gauging list to see how much time could be dedicated to such a thing. Again, I won't speak for him or SpyderAuto so don't quote me on anything.

i'm trying to get something together for you guys, but still haven't received
our final product yet.. the reason i'm able to kinda get a head count over @
clubgp is cause most of them have been following this project from day one
and kinda all have a picture in there heads of what they'll be.. lol.. i'll get pics
up as soon as i have a product to take pictures of

wow.. i didn't even need to reply on this forum.. dude, you looking for a job?
haha.. um, everything lowlyfe said is correct.. he forgot to add i'm a cutie, but
    pretty accurate..

main thing ppl been asking for is light output.. and as soon as our manufacturer
ships me over a final product, i'll test em out with chr0mius from clubgp cause
he's local and wat not.. then we'll get this GP Communities Group Buy.. that's
correct.. unlike other vendors trying to masssss profits crazy on each forum,
we're gonna setup one set number of ppl that needa get in on the group buy,
most likely 50 since clubgp already hit that number.. so don't worry about the
meeting the required number of peeps.. as for pricing.. most ppl will bring up
the whole andy's auto pricing issue.. i want to reiterate one more time for the
good people @ gpf, they made a mistake. their COST on the lights, will be more
then their advertised 299.. and i've been given exclusivity of the projectors for
the first two months from when the projector gets here.. so don't even worry
i got the hook up.. also, our first order is for 600 units.. so i'm pretty sure we
    will be well stocked..

i think for now, that's all i have off the top of my head.. (just stepped into the office 5min ago)

any q's, of course.. just post em up.. and if other community members got the answers, feel free
to try and answer or watvr.. it's helping me out a lot.. and the replies have been 99-100% exact.

thanks again for welcoming me here,

    best regards,

    john

It's going to just be a plug and play wiring harness iirc.

    actually.. the halos will basically be a + & - ...

i know it's very primitive, but so many ppl kept voicing their dislike in the halos that
we couldn't make a final decision.. well i guess we did end up making a final decision..

you'll need to hard-wire those halos (most likely to your parking lights) for them to be used.

that seems like the best solution, makes them more universal.
