    As the title reads....

I am trying to gather more information on these recalibrated A/F Gauges. A guy I know has one for sale with the following discription.

"Calibrated A/F gauge (reads .800-.999) .. it only reads from .800-.999 and is very accurate. Your is probably very acurrate up to about.600 or .700.

On this one "stoich" would be about .900. It took me a few WOT runs to figure out exactly were it was, but once I figured it out it was dead on. And I never used a scanner after that (until I got the infamous 97 KR issue). "

How close to accurate would this be? I know its not a WB Meter, but if it gets me in the ballpark more times than not? That's a good thing.

I just wanted to get your all's thoughts on it before I said anything else.

    Many thanks inadvance.

If it's a narrowband a/f guage then it's considered only good for a light show in the cabin. The lights flash from lean to rich back and forth until you go WOT and then it's still not very useful because you need to know ratios not how many lights left or right am i from stoich.
