Hood looks nice! Much better than stock and a huge improvement over anyones car that would think about stick on scoops. **cough cough**
Seriously though I like the car and it's coming along nicely. I'm sure your son is glad to help and proud. My daughter loves Daddy's car as well and is a great 3 year old auto tech.

I never really cared for the SLP hood until I bought my previous GP and it came with the hood. It looked beautiful and now I love the hood. My favorite hood is yet to exist, but out of the available ones I like Carbon Fiber SD.

    Thanks Jason....
And yes i do agree the lunds were a step in the wrong direction..
Were i live it is hard to get the SD hood or the F1 hood shipped i don't know why.. I got the SLP from our local club
There was a C/F SD hood on our local club buy and sell but was to late to get it.. i to really like the SD hood..
But after a week or so this hood is really looking nice and can't wait to get it
all painted up with the Ghost flames....
By the way my son is a big help with the car and really enjoys working with me on it.. i guess that is because it will be his and he is proud of it....
Over the next 4 months this is the next mods
    1) SLP headers January
    2) Dash trim Painted January
    3) Hood being painted Febuary
    4) Tint being done March
    5) custom work for amps and speakers April
    6) H3 fog lights

I got busy doing my Dash trim
and decided i was going to sand down the grills
    back to silver...
Today i installed the dash trim and just set the grill in for a shot..
What do you think so far..?

Tomorrow i will make the grills for the SLP hood

Looks good to me, looks JUST like the one that I HAD on mine (till I backed up the front end, another story) I had to get the one from PFYC because Rex of ASCD died and they weren't taking orders. I really wanted another one just like yours.

Well i got my top Slp Grils made just need to
put some trim around them and clip them just a bit more
but i think they look ok..

Took the car in to get the headers on the car but the flex pipe was no good,
so spent most of the day looking for a 3" X 6" Flex Midas has them but will
not sell over the counter must be installed there ---> NOT
and all the prices i got with well we can order them for you be about a week
was between $120.00 and $180.00..... no joking !!!
Just as i was giving up i got a call from Car Quest.
The found one with inlets on it and i could have it for $60.00 bucks,
Hell yeah so now i have the flex but have to wait till wed for the install...

Thanks for the thumbs up RKELC

Well got the grills all done and installed...
Not sure if i like the Silver better then the black
but they sure do stand out now...

I am toying with the idea of shaving the doors and trunk lid
and the side moulding i think it looks great.. What do you think ?

SLP Headers are installed now and for those that are thinking about
getting headers... stop thinking and do it.. awsome mod
and big time improvement both power and sound wise...
will post up today some time with pics..
