    from the rear brake lights? I dont want them to be all water-y if/when I want to tint them

    anyone have tips for making sure water doesnt get into them...like sealing them or anything...what works?

    Get new ones then. Once they are cracked, faded or have water in them...they're toast.

    I'd drilled a small hole in my tail light housing, and now instead of an aquarium I've got rain forest conditions. How well does the venting work to eliminate the condensation?

    well enough. if they get fogged up when they are sealed then they never get unfogged.
