His screen name on here is GR8racingfool, you can send him a PM. You should be able to email him from his profile as well in case you would like to do that instead.

I have been called by my last name since the 1st grade. Its still stuck with me today...I just roll with it. Too many Jason's out there. LOL My screen name is GR8racingfool though.

Yup, I have done quite a few ZZP's new aluminum valve covers up since their release. Here is some pictures of a set I did:

    before:

inside so those who wanted to know now know:

    after:

If you want, you can also send the stock bolts in with them, and I can have them hard chromed. Or I have a few sets of 6 already done up.

One had said that you cannot polish cast aluminum...

Once they were polished one said you can achieve the same affect using a towel and some mother aluminum polish... I have some pictures of a set of the exact same covers somebody attempted to do that way if you want to see.

Even did a set of the older 3.4 valve covers up for a member...
    before:

    after:

...and because "some" people thought they only shine because they are out side...here is an inside shot with no flash on my coffee table:

Thats what I can do with them anyway.

LOL, ya, its one of a kind for sure. Self, home made. The first 3800 one to my knowledge.

Here is a link and some more pictures when I built it:
    ClubGP Message Forum troubleshooting

I have enough parts to build 2 more just like this one. Using a junk black every time is my goal, I don't want to use a good block since these motors are not made any more.

    Impressive
If I knew the ZZPs could be polished that high I wouldve went with them VS my painted ones.

For what the ZZP ones cost, I will just keep my painted/modified ones myself too. They work, and look good, cant ask for more.

Yeah I have been harrassed on the boards for buying them. I shelled out the 100 bucks a piece thinking I was getting something different.
When I remove my stockers I am going to play with them and see what I can do for a custom look. Not to knock ZZP. The ZZPs look nice, its just for the price I wouldve tried to do a set myself. Oh well.

Have any pictures of them? I check out your cardomain and your car looks good. I like how oyu did the under hood trim in black on a red car, to show off more of the under hood painted features. Thats a lot of work to do, but it came out really nice.

The ZZPs are nice, and probably worth every penny, but not to me, compared what I did to my own stock cover.

That is real carbon fiber too.

My old covers I used to have when they were black, and what they looked like during the filling:

I'm going to do up another one, kinda the same method as what I did with my carbon fiber one...but we will have some mad polished billet aluminum in there.

WOW! The carbon fiber set looks really great. Very talented! I have come to the realization there isnt too much for customizing with our cars. You have to fabricate things on your own for taking the car to the next level.
Thanks on my hood. I did that to my T/A and thought why not on the GP. Took forever to tape it off.
The ZZP covers arent on yet. They are part of my spring build. I have a long list of improvements I am working on. The car is torn down and in surgery in my garage right now LOL
Here are pics of the covers from ZZP

Yup, sometimes you have to make and do your own work to get what you want achieved on your car. Been doing that since I have owned it.

Oh, I see what you bought...you bought already filled, and smoothed valve covers.

Ya...for $15.00 in supplies, and about an hour or two in time, you could have the exact same thing.

They really get $200.00 bones for those? Wow...just wow!
