    if i paint everything other then where the break pads run will the disks still be able to get ride of heat? i dont want them to overheat because of something that i did. im just wondering because im replacing all four disks. thanks for the help

    paint the rotor hats and you will be fine. The dissipation happens where the rotors are vented.

    paint everything. the pads will wear off where they sit, who cares if you get a little there.

    be sure to use high temp paint

    the high temp paint that i got is good up to 500 degrees. that should be good enough shouldnt it? it is caliper paint so i figured it should be good

    500° should be fine.

    Now let me know when you get your rotors to mid high 600° like mine

    how long does a paint job normally last on these. i know there are factors like paint quality and enviorment but i live in iowa and i put three coats on. its a duiplacolor product if that helps. i just kind of want a gestament. thanks guys
