I just purchased L.E.D tail lamps and the SilverStar invisible bulbs for the front turn signals. I was wondering if anyone else had these and if they did dose your turn signals flash really fast like you have a bulb out. If so is their a fix for this or not. Thanks in advance for the help.

you have to up the resistance, LEDs use a lot less power. you either need to put your own resistor in series with the bulbs, or buy a hyperflash eliminator thinger. dont know where you can get them though.

We have a member in our community here that is just a genius when it comes to the GP electrical system and has worked out the hyperflash thing for you:

    Hyperflash_Mod

If you dont feel comfortable in doing the work yourself, you can purchase a modified flasher module from him.

you HAVE to post pics of these. I was looking very closely at these last night

    you HAVE TO POST PICS

or else, i'll reccomend that you be banned!

on another note, i have a plug and play solution for the resistor modules, so you dont have to hack up your factory wiring... and still keep the bulb out indicator in the flasher.

I'll support you and your recommendation to ban him if he doesnt post pics, and Im going to ban you if you post up your plug and play solution. Sound like a fair trade?

If you have tinted tail lights, some pics during the day would be good with the LED lights so that we can see how much the tinting affects the output with the LED's. But I definitely would like to see some night time pics as well.

There are a couple ways. You can get yourself a Photobucket account and link to them that way or you can attach them at the time you make a reply. I find Photobucket pretty easy to work with, but its another login and such to keep track of, but you can link to them and put them in your post. When you attach them you have to click on the picture to bring it up.

So its just whatever you like best or find easiest.

there is an inline connector in the passenger rear of the trunk that connects the harness to both tail lights/turn signals etc. these connectors are readily available from an electronics part supplier. if you were to get the connectors, and the resistor modules, you could then make up a short extension harness that had the resistors wired into it, (should mount them in a small aluminum box to help with heat dissipation) so then you would just unplug the factory connector, insert the new extension inbetween, and your LED's would be good to go... then if you remove the led's then you just unplug your short extension harness and plug the factory harness back together.

i havent written up the whoe thing yet, but the parts are readily available, and i can put those together if needed.
