    Hello,
I'm new here and I just picked up a 99 GP GT.
    This car rocks!!!
I need a little help with a couple of things.
First is my tails, they have water or condensation as you can see in the picture. How do I fix this?

The molding on the passenger side door is coming off and I'm not sure what to use to fix it. When I push it in there is a lot of resistance so I'm not sure if I need to remove it completely first.

    Thanks
    Alen

for the passenger side molding you need to get some new clips. or do what i did and just push it in and put a screw in it from the inside. you can see the hole that is missing something if you open the door and look around the lower portion.

Well my side molding was doing the same thing and on mine there is a track that it sets in. Now whether its the clips mentioned above or not Im not sure, it looked to be a long track to me. But I was able to lift up on the molding and simultaneously push back on it and reseat it in the track. I havent had any trouble with it since.

So if you feel courageous you may lay down on the ground and pull back on that molding and see what you see up in there and if there is a track then do what I did. Otherwise you'll have to take the advice offer by those above.

With the molding, you can do that anytime you want. With regards to your tails, obviously there is a breach in the sealing of that unit somewhere. You can pull it out and see if there is any cracks or openings or breaches in the edge seal (where the clear plastic lens mates up with the housing). I dont know if the bulb has a seal on it or not, but if it does, thats something to check for as well.

Definitely take a blow dryer to the tails to dry them out and then look for the leak. Silicone around the lense area and get new seals for the bulbs. Then we can talk about tinting.
debadged, clear corners, 20% tint, tinted tails, vibrant performance tips, red painted calipers, Fig. grills, autometer guages, PFYC 3 pod A pillar, SLP CAI, 2.5" DP, SD Hood, SD front air damn, Gen I spoiler, 17X8 Borbet Type M rims, engine upgrades soon!
