My daughter is at college about 2 hours away, she was hit in a parking lot, fairly minimal damage, but, it snapped the mirror off. I am picking up a mirror from a junkyard tomorrow on my way there (correct color code, yay). Weather looks like crap 90% chance of rain and wind. So, I don't want to dink around with this project. I have removed the door panel before, but, never the mirror. I am sure it is easy, so easy that I can't find a youtube video.

After removing the door panel, how is the mirror detached from the door? I had her cut the cable to the mirror, outside the car, so the new one should just plug in. Any hints? Anything I should know? Anyone have a garage in Cedar Falls, IA I can borrow for an hour?

    Thanks,
    John

You probably already figured it out by now but it's just a few bolts that hold the mirror on. Like two or three bolts once the door panel is off.

    Very basic for these cars.
