How did you wire the relay? Likely the DRL voltage quirks causing problems.

That's likely your problem. You will need to wire them to come on with another source than the headlight wire because the DRL are not a full 12v and cause problems.

I never installed a harness in both my High/Low/Fog's.

Six ballasts in the car and didn't ever have a flicker issue.

Are you sure you plugged them in correctly? It sounds silly but sometimes the plug direction is funky on HID's and makes a difference.

You did a projector retro on your other car, did you have any problems then?

What kind/brand HID kit did you buy? If it was a Morimoto you could email customer service for tips.
    Does the car have DRLs?

Sounds like a bad ground or a bad kit.

The car with the retrofits never had a problem I have that one running on a relay harness to the battery
and the auto headlights only come on at night never daytime like the gxp
and I'm running DDM Tuning HID Kit in the retrofit and I ordered a Innovited HID Kit for the gxp got them off amazon had lots of good reviews decided to give that a try

A harness can help, but until you install it.......

With that being said, I have never installed HID's without a harness, and never had a related problem.

DDM Tuning has always been trash when I've worked with them; swore them off years ago.

You would be surprised the difference a Morimoto kit makes, bulbs included.
Then there is the warranty they have and how easy it is to deal with them.

So the GXP has daytime running lights I guess. I'm not sure how to defeat that since I have an 04.

Plug them into the high beam connector and turn them on manually
