I've been searching and I can't seem to find any information about it other then stuff about led bulbs.

2008 GP. I want my marker lights to mimic my park lights / turn signals. I want the marker lights to blink just like the park lamps do when you lock the car etc.

Not sure which wire to tap into, don't want to mess anything up! Any input in the right direction would be great! Thank you!

I've looked into this, it depends on if you still want them to be DRLs or just turn signals.

If you want them to flash when the turn signals flash, but not stay on all the time while driving, tap into the blue-white wire going to the turn signals, cut the brown wire going to the marker lamp, then run the tap to the brown wire. I would suggest doing the splicing at the wire loom, rather than the back of the headlight, so the headlight can still be removed/replaced.

And please use solder, a soldering iron and heat shrink tubing, so you don't have to go back later and replace corroded, dead wires.

There's a How-to somewhere, but I cannot for the life of me find where I saw it.

War had his fuse block all apart. I'd take his advice on it.

Thank you! and I just want the marker lights to mimic the park lamps, so if the park lamps are on the marker lights are on and same thing when my turn signals are on. Would i just tap the brown wire into the blue wire? And i don't own a solder think a butt connector and a bunch of tape will be ok? (sounds pretty ****ty but hey i gotta work with what I got lol)

And the bulb would have to come out of the headlight anyway so i didn't think it would matter too much right?

I checked out your page, diggin' the car man! I liked how you restored your lights! What did you use??

Really fine sandpaper, plastic polish, and about 3 hours of elbow grease.

I think it's on either the second page or third page, can't remember exactly...

What you're describing will need a different bulb, with 3 inputs like the turn signal bulb has, if it was going to work properly without burning out those bulbs in a few days/weeks.

Side note, you can get a cheap soldering iron for like $10 at Wal-Mart, the one I use is a little bit more expensive but IMO totally worth it.

It was about $35 for me, but everything's expensive in Alaska. Lol

And you can get the little multi-packs of pre-cut heat shrink for a couple bucks.

Trust me, it'll save you time and money later, because those butt connectors will still let water in to the bare copper, regardless of how much tape you use. Then you've got dead wires that you'll have to strip back to clean copper and splice in new wire, possibly replace the connectors themself if the corrosion travels that direction...

Do it right the first time, so you won't have to go back repeatedly and fix it every couple months.

If you have questions about it, feel free to ask. I've been through the wiring on mine so many times...

There's a few other lighting mods that I've been meaning to re-write the how-to's for, because they're old and missing pictures, or hard to understand... Give me about a week and I'll have them posted.
