so just to let you that I have NEVER owned a vechile that has or had a bra on it and was thinking about getting one. I would like to know your opnions on these things.

Good for protection, but I have seen that over time on some vehicle that the edges will put wear spots in the paint. If your going to get one, spend the extra for a good one instead of a cheaper one that won't stay tight and fall apart.

had one, wasn't a good idea because it faded the paint on my hood pretty bad. I will never get one again. I like the look of the grand prix without a bra anyways.

I posted this in another post but I will post it here as well. If you guys are looking into a bra you should do some research on one like ultrashield does. It is a 3M product that is 8mil thick clear plastic. For the most part you hardly notice it depending on the color of the car. You really only see it when you are up close or if you are really looking for it. I had it on my old Bonneville and then I had it done on my new GXP. They do different kits. My total cost was $575 but then I did the bumper, hood (comes up about 10-12") and they also did the mirrors and a little custom wrap on my front fenders since they do stick out a bit. They have a pretty decent warranty on them as well. Just my .02 worth on the subject.

I have a full bra with mirrior bras... but I only use it for trips w/ protective film around the edges and lots of wax. As soon as i'm where I need to be few a few days or what not, the bra/film comes right off before anyone sees it...

Don't leave it out in the sun for to long, my buddy left his on for almost 2 years straight and we took it off and there was a fat colour difference and millions of cracks where the bra used to be I laughed for hours at him. But for long trips hell yes city driving no.
