I removed the logo from mine by using some rubbing alcohol on a rag wrapped around the end of a heavy plastic ruler. Takes a few minutes and some elbow grease, but it works quite well without scratching or discoloring the cover.
    This one has a V8.
Why not just make a V6 faster?

I had GTS covers on my last car, and I sprayed it with Bug and Tar Remover, and CAREFULLY used a razor blade and peeled them off. Extremely careful so I didn't take a chunk out of the cover. Then some more B&TR to get the rest of the sticky stuff off. Worked out well for me.
