    Plan on getting a turbo kit. The ct kit looks pretty good but was also thinking the zzp kit too. What others are there and I will spend 4500 at the most. Tell me what you think.

    the z7 kit from zzp is the best one you can buy, no questions asked. stattama knows what the hell they are doing, so parts from them are top quality.

    have they started marketing their turbo headers yet? not sure.

    Cartuning also has a new T-66 option I'd e-mail about, don't think it's on the website. It also now comes with a larger intercooler.

    I would recommend the Z7 kit but I have never looked at a CT kit so I can't really say anything about them. I can say the Z7 is very well built though.

    dont even bother with CT since zzp/stattama has nice stuff coming out now! you can buy the turbo setup i have for about $4,500 easy. it also comes standard with the T67 turbo, front and rear Power logs, top notch kit.

    if you want any kind of customer service go with zzp/stattama. CT just wants your money and it's like they don't exist when you have a question or problem..

    That's beacue ZZP is mostly W-body based. While Cartuning has Hemi kits and others in development to worry about. It's a bolt on kit though, how much customer service do you need ? Not to mention the only Turbo GXP kit

    We get pretty good Customer service here in Ontario with Kevin from Cartuning.

    I have the CT kit, and no problems so far. Just curious if the ZZP kit puts down the same #'s on a stock motor.....

    As for Car Tuning, to say they want your $$ is a bunch of BS...myself not having alot of $$ to spend, Kevin put together a package that I could afford, and got me into the 12's on street tires (stock heads/manifolds) on 16psi. Oh, and I'm still getting 7.0 - 8.0 L/100km.

    Kevin has his moments when he gets busy, but overall I would recommend going to him, simply because he's right here in Toronto, his turbo kit is bullet proof, and I've seen him bend over backwards for his customers...

    I don't have any info on the ZZP kit, but I also heard that it was a fun set-up.

    Did some looking on both sites on-line, and found they are similar:

    ZZP Z7 Turbo kit $2499.99 - Base kit:

    $ 300.00 - Turbonetics 62-1
    $ 90.00 - PCM
    $ 220.00 - 42# Injectors
    $1099.99 - A/A Intercooler
    $ 65.00 - Boost Ctrl
    $ 200.00 - Ceramic Coating
    $ 200.00 - Cat'd down pipe
    $ 50.00 - M90 Plate
    TOTAL: $4724.98

    Cartuning Performance Turbo kit $3099.99 - Base kit:
    $ 389.00 - PT-61
    $1099.00 - A/A Intercooler
    $ 79.00 - Boost Ctrl
    $ 209.00 - Ceramic Coating
    $ 100.00 - M90 Supercharged Option (M90 block off, gaskets/hardware/etc)
    $ 100.00 - PCM refundable core
    TOTAL - $4975.00

    Just a side note, Cartuning Performance website does not have all the current set-ups that they now have to offer. I know that they are using Turbonetics Turbos, and they have upgraded their Turbo kit too. They have cut-outs (welded in the down pipe), fuel pump rewire kits, water/mets kits to go along with their Turbo kits. I'm sure if you give Kevin a call, he can give you all the info on what he has to offer, plus other projects that he has on the go that'll make your GP Bullitt proof!

    Just realized that he has a sale on for January: "Purchase an intercooled turbo kit for your W body, and we'll throw in the upgrade turbo (61mm unit) AND ceramic coating FREE OF CHARGE!! This works out to an additional savings of over $600!!! On top of that, we'll be including the LT1 maf and boost controller as well!"

    If i was to get another kit i would def go to Matt at Stattama. He has helped me with a used kit i bought alot. If you do your own custom fmic and piece everything together with the Z7 pipes its much cheaper. I know GT-ER has done his on a fairly limited budget. The Ct kit seems to be good but i hate the location of the wastegate, from what i hear the bov is junk, and ive heard little good things about customer service besides the locals to the owner. I know Matt usually answers my questions the same day or the next if its late.

    I have the old BOV set up on my car...seems to work fine to me, but that is just with my car...can't speak for others...Kevin also has a new BOV and Charge Pipe that goes with his kits now...I may upgrade and get that set-up

    I have no bov so your better off than me. Thats the one thing that makes me mad about the old Z6 kits is they have not bov. And i dont think the Z7's do unless you ask for one or get the a/a. THey use tial tho which are really nice.

    I believe you only get a BOV with the A2A IC Z7 kit. I don't think a BOV comes standard with the non ICed Z7 kit.
