I just got my hands on a k03 turbo out of a 1.8t it measures roughly 36mm on both sides. Think this turbo would be worth running or would i see no gains over the genv. I could get a rebuild kit for it for 25 bucks.

Baby turbo lol
Lol. thats Tiny.. Hella fast spool... not sure about power.. take a close look at the compressor maps and efficiency ranges.
Yea its tiny but thats why im curious, after seeing twinv6 results it makes me wonder. Honestly if i can see 300+ whp with a small intercooler attached to it ide be happy cus i can make this happen for pretty much nothing.
That would be a colossal waste of time. That turbo supports about 250whp and you'd likely not be able to hold more than ~8-9psi to redline. You'd also be bottlenecking the hell out of the motor at anything other than idle.
^^ What he said
The intake/exhaust pressure ratio would be like 10:1 Lol
*starts car*
FULL BOOOOSSSSSTTTT *****ESSSSSS!
V-TAKKKKK
rofl alright ill throw it on a motorcycle then vroom
Aww man... Come on! Get that Idle VTAK
Nothing smaller then 56mm imo
I had one on a mx6 it did ok with the 2.2l fast spool with low boost. I don't think it would be worth the time on a 3.8, the 2.2l could have had more potential with a bigger turbo, i could only imagine on a 3.8
Second vote for 1.5 D-series Honda build with small sub 10~psi setup.
The ko3 is just a terrible turbo. Use it as a paper weight or throw it out lol
Just run it off the front bank only.
