Hey guys. I was originally going to be using my vs cam for my turbo build but my car was totalled before I installed the setup. I have not picked up a car to put the stuff on yet but I am trying to get everything ready to go when I do pick up a car. It will be a w body of some kind. I am not looking to have an all out build just a car to mess around with and take to the track a few times a month. I am looking for some advice on what cam to go with.

Alright, to tell you a little about the build. Im most likely going to be running a l67.
-hx35 turbo w/.63 turbine housing (might be a little small but will spool fast for sure)
    -front and rear plogs
    -z7 crossover
-I will be running a double rolled chain w/ most likely 130# springs + modded retainers.
-I will be making my own 2.5" down pipe and will most likely get a cutout.
    -ebay intercooler

I will be running stock heads so I know that will limit my choices some. I have read the xp works pretty good as a turbo cam and I do like the lope at idle it has. Does anyone have any experience with the intense stage 2 turbo cam? It sounds about what I am looking for on paper. Pretty big but not too big and it sounds like it will be ok with stock heads. I am wanting to go bigger than a st1 turbo cam. Any input and opinions would be great guys. Hope to have something going in the next few months.

St2 or st1 or stock will be fine. Hx35 is more than enough power on a stock cam for most of the world.

I currently run an XP Cam on my turbo setup. Lope is amazing at idle, sure turns heads when slow cruising around or at stoplights and the power band up top 5k+ is great.

Thanks for the input guys. I think Im going to be going with the xp. I might be losing out slightly in some aspects when compared to a turbo cam but the trade off sounds worth it for the lope. Again not looking for crazy all out performance, just a cool fun to drive car.
