So i was browsing the webs and I come across this.
    EDIT: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271104922349...84.m1423.l2649

    andd

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/T3-T4-Turbo-...ee7ac7&vxp=mtr

Now before we get batty here about the cheapness lol.....

I was reading feedback/reviews and many claim it isn't half bad of a turbo. Adding 60-100 hp.

    Opinions?
Or is this not even close to legit?

Just questions seeing as you don't come across positively reviewed ebay turbos too often

I know that parish (was featured on hot-rod drag week, had the fastest 99+ silverado in 06, second fastest turbo g8, and a turbo rear mount LS1 powered lexus) had a chinese turbo on the lexus that he was using as a mock up and left it on for a bit. He ended up having issues with it leaking oil.

You've gotta pay to play in the turbo game. The best budget turbos are going to be Masterpower or Magnum. Then you've got to think about custom headers and a turbo crossover. A2A IC/ front mount fitment, and all the other fun stuff. By the time you're done, you're still looking at a couple grand for a reliable budget turbo setup. Then you add in a built trans and drag tires and suspension and you're getting back up into the 5k ballpark.

    Fast, Cheap, Reliable
You only get to pick 2.

    ^^^ i agree.

you can get a turbo off of ebay, but it should be a more expensive one. godspeedproject has some decent priced ones on ebay. with the cheap ones, one of 2 things will happen. a) the turbo blows right away or b) the turbo works awesome....for maybe a year and then it explodes.

china turbo's arent bad, my mazda 3 made great power, and held up for about 3 years, the key to having them last, is when you get them, go get them balanced.

i love ebay turbo's you can go through 6 of them before even hitting the cost of a name brand one.

One guy on YT used the EBay turbo kit, I think he got a little more than a year out of the turbo with easy driving before it before useless.

It probably isn't BAD for the money, but just find something better, Holset's are pretty ***kin' cheap, I got an HX35 for a hundred bones, freshly re-built. They are the factory turbo's on most diesel pickups.

i got my turbo from comp turbo, they are reasonably priced. but you have to call to order.

    Comp Turbo - Products

i went with the CT4 line. I had ordered a 6464 but they didnt have them in stock after they told if would be there by the day i needed it. i called to make sure it was shipped out when they told me it wouldnt be, i flipped out and they gave me a 6764 for the same price and overnighted it at no extra cost.

No kidding...I just sold a 7-blade 12cm^2 HX35 to a guy locally for $300 with a fresh rebuild. You could probably make 325+whp all day long on pump gas with that turbo.

Hit or miss with ebay turbos. Heard of guys going 1 month and others going years on them. You can typically find CT kits for around 2K shipped.
I've spent close to $4500ish on my IC turbo/trans setup. Honestly, If I had to do it all over again I would have waited and bought a Z7 67mm turbo kit, but for the money a CT kit isn't too bad. Plenty of power for a daily driver and much more fun than a S/C setup.

My buddy that builds turbo rangers uses hx-35 turbos all the time. Will run 25-30 psi boost all day errday with minimal issues. Can pick one up at any junkyard for cheap.
