I purchased my car with a Stattma turbo setup but all of the parts were off of the car. When I put everything back for the intercooler setup I noticed the the air dam and other plastic pieces around the radiator no long would fit due to the size of the FMHE.
i was wondering if anyone has come up with anything to help get more air flow across the radiator so that it cools better?
    thanks

Nope, dont think there is a way because most FMICs hang too low. Most people dont have issues with cooling tho.... I dont atleast.

The car isn't overheating. It's just getting around 200 with a 160 stat while on the highway. I have an electric water pump and I was wondering if that might be the problem too.

Hate to break it to you buddy but it doesnt matter what temp tstat you put in there cruising down the highway your going to run about 190-200, the 160* tstat only controls when the fluid starts flowing around inside the engine it doesnt make it run cooler. Once the engine warms up it warms up. Only thing to get it to run cooler would be a much larger radiator.

    They do....
It take power to spin the blower thus in effect taking away HP.

Do you have it tuned so the fans will even come on at 160?

Yes the fans come on at 160. But going down the highway fans don't make a whole lot of difference.
I also have an electric water pump. I was thinking I might try a different pump as well.

Ended up being the Electric water pump that I had. Replaced it with a stock one and the temps went down. So I'm having the electric pump rebuilt.

Good deal. Thanks for the update. I'll be doing my water pump as well. 200K on the engine and I don't believe the pump was ever replaced. Have a feeling that the blades are missing.

You probably solved this problem already but theres a thread on here somewhere about a monte carlo radiator being bigger.
