also didn't know but the intake ports are 1.83 vs 1.80 on previous Series II heads. :th_thumbsup-wink:

And you still dont have a clue, INTAKE VALVES are slightly large, not ports/seats. Castings/seats are still the same.
Not really sure if you are even serious about the crap you are posting now, I am assuming you are trolling, so I am giving up.

3-4 I've seen so far that actually posted pics, few others then said they had the same thing happen.
$300 for a L26 tho, can't beat that even with its' possible flaws.

If the motor is setup properly you shouldn't need to fool around with the tune much at all to get it running well.
He said that 99.9% of people on THIS forum have no need for tuning at all. Even a car in stock form can benefit from some tuning. It may only be small changes but it's still tuning. Not all cars the come off the line are the same or will run the same BUT they DO use a cookie cutter file in the PCM.
The other thing I would like to say is that I think some people on here need to respond in a more respectful way. Just because you can be hard on the internet doesn't mean that you should be. Some people do not know as much as you but it's no reason to be a dick. You want to be a dick then ClubGP is your site.
PS- 2 bar MAPs run on L36s just fine. :th_nanana:
Re: GTP SIC ~ Twin Charged (w VIDEO RUNNING pg2)
i still havent had a problem with the l26 blocks, im confident they are ok with proper tuning.

I'm sure many owners on here need more important things like suspension or brakes.
Perhaps even rust damage corrected.

Agreed.
Minus the CGP reference.
Hypocritical to label CGP that way.

You need to be somewhat abusive, and make enough power for it to matter.

who cares about map sensors? As far as I know we are all using factory ecu's that do not even use map sensors.
Re: GTP SIC ~ Twin Charged (w VIDEO RUNNING pg2)
lol you guys..
Yes I meant Intake valves.. the diameter of the valve 3/100's of an inch larger.. wooo.. it was a sarcastic comment..as if it makes a difference. not trolling by any means.
Ideally, I wish I didn't spin a rod bearing, but now.. I just want to drive my car and I've outsourced an L26 + turbo swap and sold my supercharger and intercooler..
It is what it is and I'll keep you folks posted

chipped piston cyl 1, also dented oil pan and carnage inside there, will wait for ty to come down before i pop it but it open at the oil pan, but it should be nice.
bent vavle on the head, and the double roller is now fcked, the xp cam is still ok though.
there was a few other major issues that we making this a ticking time bomb unfortunatly.
Re: GTP SIC ~ Twin Charged (w VIDEO RUNNING pg2)
Side topic: what are the biggest/strongest rods in the series II/III motor out of curiosity?

debatable between L67 / L32.
My debate leans twards L67 just because they are larger.

Oil pan was dented when i installed it :) picked it up used the other pan was fubared.
Whats wrong with the roller chain?
I know i had to dremel the sprocket to get it to slide on.. might just be from my modifications..
Give me a ring and we'll decide the game plan.
