After reading all 3 pages of this thread you need a ton more research. I have a S256 and it will be going in a new build with a St2 stattama cam. Ive been emailing Stattama for a while now and 450 to 500hp should be easy with this cam and turbo I have. Now sure that leaves a lot of questions to be answered and trust me Im working on that as well. First of all you need to sit down and decide what are the goals for this build and is it your DD? Then we can all on here help out much more.

im not sure why you'd spend that much money on a turbo setup just to shoot for low 13s. thats just dumb.

Do you have any installed pics? What kind of downpipe did you fab up and what flanges are you using for the inlet/outlet on the hotside? How does your wastegate piping look? What material did you make the crossover and downpipe from?

What tuner are you using to tune this with for the 42.5lb inj and lt1 maf?
What wideband do you have/plan on getting?
What type of a/a ic did you get?

you simply cannot ask these questions when you are serious about running a turbo. how are you going to maintain the car when you break it? because youre going to.

.70 ar spools a tad bit slower but will give you more top end. I personally would go with the larger exhaust. And im with Bio, I almost think this thread is a joke.....

Most t4 setups with .70 a/r spool just fine. If its a t3 then I would get at least a .81

Are you using a current kit(CT, Z7, stattama) on the market to bolt your listed mods to? or did you have a custom crossover/header setup made?

Most people are right about you not needing to switch to a turbocharger for your current goals. But as most know the need for more horsepower is almost always there. Any proper setup will make more power then your transmisson will be able to handle. If you are not able to comfortably afford a quality unit or kit, you will have alot more trouble affording a transmission to keep up with the extra power.

And for a shameless plug if your looking for a great deal on turbonetics t3/t4 or T4 turbochargers and accessories check out these deals-

Bio already said it how you gonna turbo something that you have no clue on how to do it or fix it. Also now that you just told us all your wages with that being minimum wage you're just sounding silly. I know you're just trying to learn but honestly to turbo a gp you need a better job for one and 2 you need the knowledge before hand not after the fact. You will destroy this car and have no reliable car at your current rate, just saying. I had $7000 dollars in my built engine before I even went turbo. How you planning on running a 2.5in downpipe when SC cars even need bigger than that.

Forward me pictures of said turbocharged motor in 6 months, should be able to annihilate the front bank by then at least. You may even be able to make pistons disappear totally if you're good enough.

    Ohh jeez...

Get rid of the boost controller, right now you have it hooked up to your BOV. Boost controller limits the amount of boost the wastegate sees so you can effectively raise your boost. You will be happy with 9-12psi or whatever the wastegate you get is set at.

Onto the wastegate... If you get a s256 turbo .70 a/r you need to plumb in a wastegate going from the crossover pipe to your downpipe. This is what will control the boost so you don't blow things up right away. It needs to have a good vac/boost source otherwise it won't control boost.

There are no pics of your rear manifold or its hard to see the downpipe and crossover, should get better pics.

All turbo kits except the stattama kit run a 2.5" downpipe, then you have your custom setups...

An HX35 would be good for mid 11s in a mild weight reduction car.
