i am wanting atleast 250whp, but would prefer 300whp, This is my DD 2004 grand prix gt2 with 140K miles.
i know i'm going with these:
Z3 turbo kit( what are the options i need for my grand prix?)
    HV3
3A racing exhaust(already installed when i bought the car, will replace one day.)
    built trans
    poly engine mounts:
    W Body Store

Ok what i need help with:
    plogs or other?
Who in michigan, roughly kalamazoo, is a good tuner?
Cam? when i do the trans, or at a later time.

    are these good Gauges:
    good boost guage?
    wideband:
    W Body Store
    scanner:
    W Body Store

Correct me if I'm wrong but you don't use headers on a turbo build.

The scan gauge is a scan gauge and the wideband is a wideband, they will both do what you want.

Pems with a zzp crossover and down pipe are good for over 500hp and thats the plan for me with the ST2 cam and S256 turbo I have. Ive been emailing stattama a little about this as well. Double roller, 130lb springs ST2 cam 56mm turbo. stock heads stock bottom end, then plan to use either treadstone IC or Frozenboost IC along with at least 65 lb injectors should come damn close to 500hp. Making 400whp is the target.

z3 kit uses a open dump wastegate or is perched on the rear stock manifold dp flange. You can't run a rear powerlog but you can run a front stainless powerlog and a rear PEM. Stock rear manifold directs cyl. #6 primary towards the downpipe, when really you want it going toward the turbo that sits on the crossover pipe. So you want the rear stock manifold ported a bit and the #6 primary cut and re-welded so its directing it towards the crossover.

We dont really have turbo headers for these cars. on this forum when you say headers it means the long(ish) exhaust tubes from the heads to the caback. Hondas have turbo headers but we dont.

I just finished putting together parts for my kit, basically I'm going to be running a Z7 kit with both plogs, 44mm wg and cutout in the dp. Personally for the cost I do like the Z3 kit and you can make 400whp with it. However I wanted a lot MOAR power and put together a nice kit for myself. So for what you're looking for I'd look into a Z3 kit imho.

For what your wanting I would recommend the Z3 kit. That's what I have and it's plenty of power... For now. You'll get over the 300 hp you want just off of the 10 pounds of boost the wastegate is set at.

Oh and like stated before if you do run the Z3 kit you can't use a rear plog because the wastegate connects to the rear manifold. And you can do a turbo cam or run 1.9 rockers which is what I'm doing. You'll be able to run off the base tune you get from ZZP and be safe but you'll want to get dyno tuned to get the full potential out of the turbo
