I have been wanting to turbo my 04 gtp but was interested to know what kind of gains i will see with a turbo kit over the supercharger thats already on it or what some of you guys have to say about it. also wondering what kind of engine parts I would have to get to build the engine up to support it. Agian I am trying to go for most horse power for fewest bucks but I also want it to be dependable and i don't want to cut corners.

Fast, reliable, cheap. You can only pick 2 of the 3 on there. The turbo guys will be in to tell you more as I am converting soon.

How much power are you looking for? You can buy a non IC'd turbo kit that will bolt up to a stock engine without any mods. There really isn't any words to describe the feel of a turbo v.s. a s/c. Plus if you are looking for serious hp out of your 3800 then I would recommend turbo. The factory s/c on these car will only get you so far. So give us some more info on what you are looking for out of your car, and then go from there.

I want the most horse power gain, at relitively the cheapest price and most reliable set up. I know i could pull some serious horse power out of that engine with the s.c. but i would have to put a lot of money in the engine, so I guess baring buying the turbo. I want a lot of horse power with fewest engine mods. and also what kind of turbo would all you guys suggest?\

And any ideas on what i can do with the automatic tranny in it? or have you guys just stayed with it?

You can get it rebuilt by someone who knows that tranny well to address a lot of the factory issues. There aren't really any other feasible alternatives to it.
