FWIW my rant is due to the fact that honestly this mentality is the wrong mentality. There is a ton more to cars than just hp, thats why our cars are able to run 10s with much less hp than some other platforms. It bugs me to no end the mentality of some people who dont really know what it takes to even build a car. Thats how threads like these are started.

You must know all though right! LFMAO! Congrats on just ranting and stating the obvious. Oh and BTW many people would argue FWD have less drivetrain loss because of the shorter distance to the drive wheels so umm. Maybe you should learn more before commenting on something you obviously know nothing about!
Dumber words have never been spoken.

Says the guy who claims his car would be slower with more HP. ^^ If you can use the additional HP I have no idea why it would be slower. People all ***** about ohh well thats not practical or this or thats not right, My point is simply Id like to see something done on this platform that no one else has done before thats all. Nothing more, any one can argue all day whats the best route to go for any given goal. Hell why dont many people use spray? Apparently to some on here if not many people use it it must not work very well huh?

Vet has never built a 3800...don't worry. He buys parts...talks about how awesome his car is going to be...and then sells them.

You can make more power with less stress on turbo vs spray.

Also, you keep refering to something about loss, and torque converters, and whatnot... which you are assuming that nobody has made 1000 crank horsepower before just because nobody has made more than 950whp..... I was at zzp when I saw 2 3800 cars make over 900whp.

Simmer down, simmer down. It would be cool to see an insane amount of horsepower, anybody would agree with that under the norms but there are clearly some differences in our platform.

I don't think Matt even runs the BTGT at the boost or power level it's been dynoing at. There were a few runs where he tried gradually bumping it up and it was slower due to traction/issues spoken above. Given a perfect day with perfect track conditions and maybe it'll be better.

    This thread needs swept.
