thinking of twincharging 99gtp m90 plus STS turbo.
    Intercooled plus meth inject.
Ordered HP Tuner so I wanna play around with that and get pretty good.
Would I (or anyone with hp tuner in general) be able to properly tune this setup with just a hp tuner?
My only mods right now is FWI and 180 Tstat
    Thanks

for your mod level right now i dont think you understand the mess you'll be getting into with trying a twin charged setup, let alone a remote turbo twin charged setup. play with hptuners and get your car running well and start adding some mods to it.

unless you have a good $8k to drop, i would highly advise against what you want.

ya I have money and my goals is a twincharged gtp.
I can fabricate all the exhaust piping with my buddy in his grandpas shop.
Soon were porting my tb and sc along with his ls1 camaro parts.
So the only thing i don't fully understand is the hp tuner. So its coming and im gonna carefully play around with our cars. but in the near future i would like to look into an STS turbo for the twincharged setup. I know there are other setups that may be recommended but I love STS lol.
Also, how much PSI of boost can these engines handle stock?
    Thanks again

Depends on how good you are at tuning.

you can "know about ridding KR" but do u " know HOW to" tuning isnt just like a five min tweak of a few numbers. theres alot that goes into it. thats why when i do my build, im paying someone to tune it.

Yeah thats the one thing im worried about. My tuner should be in in a few days. I mean I want to get actually GOOD at tuning before I do this. I def want it by spring. SO I hope to get some good tuning skills by then, and if not I plan on paying someone to tune it for me.

Also mrclean, What kind of setup do plan on running? and whats your timeframe?

And can anyone on the forums or overkill do an email tune for a twincharged car? Or should it be dine in the car(like I'm assuming)?

It would have to be done in the car, and it takes more than a year for most to become even remotely comfortable with tuning advanced setups or others setups. The open loop tutorials and features on hptuners boards and other tuning boards make it a little easier now to at least dial in your fueling. It also takes a pretty good wrencher to put together a solid setup that won't give you mechanical problems. Either way, it's a lot of money and time to do this, that's why there are so few.

There have been many that have taken the stock block (different cam, valve springs and timing chain) to well over 20psi+. Depends on the setup and what you are doing with it.

Well I'll be doing my top swap in like a four day weekend some time soon. Build is: ported gen 3 and lim, zzp s3ic, moded 1.9's, ls6 springs, prj rails, 180 tstat, prj plugs, 104's ,ported tb, and SD headers. I'll be breaking it in on a 3.6 but dropping to like a 3.2 maybe. I'm having a guy localy tune it. He's a friend of a friend. Apparently he has a 500 whp cobalt with 0* kr
