Me too, but don't we still need an adapter plate for the N* TB? Or does the north star bolt up to the L26 UIM?

Once I get everything running, I'll probably have triple edge build up my trans.

What's the difference in mafs between the lt1 and ls7? I'm assuming I'm going to need the housing from whichever one I get.

BrandonHall10 built my tranny. He does phenomenal work, maybe shoot him a msg when you're ready and he could shoot you a quote.

Re: Just got a turbo kit, couple quick questions
honestly no reason to run an aftermarket maf. get a fixed afc from zzp and be done with it. thats what im currently running...24psi. no issues.

exactly, stock maf with some sort of afc is all you need.

Re: Just got a turbo kit, couple quick questions
I went with a ported l67 tb, l26 upper and lower, and stock maf with an afc. Any maf you go with will require a retune. If you go lt or ls you can get a maf block off plate for the stock tb.
Air is being pushed in the by the turbo as apposed to sucked in by the supercharger so you don't need a big throttle body unless you have a really big turbo.
Oh Ya it never ends...;)

Re: Just got a turbo kit, couple quick questions
That's been my understanding, no big TB needed. Boost is boost and does the trick.

Ported L67 TB is what I'm using too.

Re: Just got a turbo kit, couple quick questions
Stock l67 TB for me and LT1 MAF, LT1 MAF is cheaper than an AFC if we want to get back to the saving a few dollars factor and is all I've ever needed and like said above anything other than stock needs tuning anyway. Oh yeah my car has been turboed and on this setup since 2005...not many can claim that.

Re: Just got a turbo kit, couple quick questions
I wanted a HPT tuner, however I ended up finding a used DHP that I got a really good deal on, so I guess I'll be using that. I figure if I don't like it, it shouldn't lose value. Should be here Friday. If I have a tuner, do I still need a scangauge? Thinking about going with this Wideband:

I read that DHP scanning software is awful and to use UV scan instead, so I plan to do that. Will I be able to log this at the same time?

Re: Just got a turbo kit, couple quick questions
dhp scans just fine. its how long it takes to save thats a issue for some. uv scan is separate program that uses the dhp interface to log with.
that wb will work.
